Divorce and separation – these can be some of the most traumatic and stressful events in people’s lives. Clients find themselves in unfamiliar territory and we recognise the need at all times to rely on the support and legal expertise of their solicitor. Our aim is always to help couples settle their differences in the most constructive way possible.
We recognise that clients must feel comfortable with us and with the approach to be adopted in their individual cases. An initial meeting is a useful way of ensuring this. Prior to such meeting, any member of the family law team would be happy to have a preliminary word.
We will make every effort to settle cases without the need to resort to court proceedings. Sometimes court involvement cannot be avoided. Even then negotiations can result in agreement before any final hearing takes place.
